Just what I needed

Didn't need all the whistles and bells, since it's used for quick vacations and hunting. Most have slot of electronic timers and such that was not needed. Pure and simple. Even a caveman can use it!

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and it works as expected not a lot of bells and whistles that never get used. I just wanted something basic and dependable and this is it. Why pay for all the features that I would use only so often, Great product.

A simple gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an older Amana gas range. So far the ignitors have worked okay and you don't have to worry about the pilot lights going out. However, the top of the range doesn't lift correctly and the "porcelain " type of finish cracked/chipped off of one side by the top rear of the range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this in a hurry after our range quit working. We didn't realize until we got it home that there was no oven or broiler light. This stove has no bells and whistles, just reliable burners and oven temps, which is all we really need. The two grills lift off the burners easily for keeping the stovetop spotless; my only complaint about them is that because they are round, pots slide easily on them. That is a problem because my husband is disabled and more stable grills would be better for him. For someone wanting a beautiful stove without any extras, I'd recommend this.

Nice basic stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a similar model Amana range. The first problem I had was that the top of the range chipped the "porcelain finish. The top didn't raise up correctly to change the jets on the burners. Besides that it was what we wanted. Works great.

Nice oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this oven as a replacement for my old oven from AHS. I like the grates on top of the open flame. This oven has an igniter switch - which I have had to get used to. My old oven had a pilot and lighted much easier. Sometimes the ignite switch will not generate a flame so you have to turn off and move the little metal disc on top to get just right. Also, oven only comes with one baking rack inside - that's kinda of a bummer - need 2, so will have to order. Overall heats as expected and is easy to clean. When first use- there is a smell, which operators manual says is normal. Luckily that smell did not get into food that was baking.

I bought this range because it was one of the few ranges that Amana made in white. When I got it home I found out that none of the knobs were straight. They all rotated crooked. The racks that sit over the burners are uneven, my pans tilt. After contacting Amana and providing all my information, I waited for help. I was sent to their website for frequently asked questions, none of them addressed these problems, and I never heard from them again, even after reporting that it was not addressing my complaints. So I feel the product is poor, and customer service was poor. I will never buy an Amana product again. So if you’re thinking about buying this range please check over these issues carefully before you choose this product. Thank you
