Nice dishwasher

This seems well made, and the washer is very flexible in loading dishes. So far, the cleaning ability of this machine is very good indeed, the looks are great. While I didn't think I'd end up liking the hidden controls, they are kind of cool. The wash cycle is fairly quiet. I like the appliance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Dishwasher. Just may be having some troubles

This dishwasher works great, it sound is hardly noticeable. We have not had any problems with this dishwasher other than one thing. We have had this dishwasher for 4 months now and for some reason as soon as we start placing dirty dishes in it, it really starts to stink really bad. So, each time we open the door to put dishes into it the stench just about knocks you over. I have not idea where that smell is coming from, but the GE Profile model that we had before for 21 years never once smelled as bad as this one does.

Started rattling after 6 months of use. Disassembling to clean the sump filter resulted in 3 broken plastic pieces. I will not buy another GE product.

I've had this dishwasher for 3 years now and I have been very happy with it's operation. The only problem I see at this point is that the trays are getting rusty.

Washes well, but racks and purge pump are junk

Pros: It was quiet (for the first few years). Looks nice. Inner tub is in good shape.
Cons: After about 2 years the racks started rusting. Now at ~6 years old, the racks are disintegrating. I tried to get replacements, but they are discontinued with no substitute. Also the upper rack slides stick really bad....I did get a replacement for those once, but they are now discontinued as well. It's just a bad design and I think GE knows that because their newer units have reverted to the old design.
Also, after about year 4, the pump that empties the water is really noisy....it can wake you up from a sleep. I can't run it when I go to bed any more. Poor quality for the price

It starts leaking from the left side vents
