Quiet as a mouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently upgraded all of our appliances with new GE Electric Range, GE side by side fridge, GE above range microwave, and this new GE dishwasher. We are loving all of our new stainless GE appliances. We have renovated our kitchen and just got the dishwasher installed yesterday, it is great, so quiet you can hardly hear it running. It cleans very good with little water usage. We love the top buttons too. We have 9 grand children and they were always punching the buttons on our old dishwasher but with the buttons on top and the ability to lock out the controls, it truly is grand baby proof. Thanks for building such a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a year ago in April. When my contractor installed it in June, it didn't work. It took 1 1/2 weeks for the repairman to come and then 2 more weeks to get the part that was needed. This is May 2013 and the heated dry just quit. I think it is the control panel again because heating element looks fine. I can't afford to pay for repairs. This is a piece of JUNK!!!!!!! I am extremely disappointed! I bought 4 GE appliances for my remodeled kitchen and have had nothing but trouble with the dishwasher and microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple features, nice appearance
