Food still stuck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is sensitive to overloading. In fact, we have found out we need to use every other spot to get bowls clean.
It does an okay job otherwise. I just hate washing dishes before I wash dishes; but if I don't do that...often time I have to wash dishes after the dishwasher has "washed" them.
On the positive side, it is beautiful. And I like the "hidden" buttons on top.

Quiet is not the reason to buy a dishwasher

Would have done zero stars if the system would allow. The only positive thing about this "dishwasher" is that it's quiet. It doesn't clean dishes at all. If the soap dispenser happens to open, the soap is in one clump at the bottom of the basin. The dishes go through a complete cycle and then have hardened food stuck on them. The last thing I need to do is waste the energy (water & electricity) to only wash the dishes by hand after they've gone through a heated hold pattern! Replacing for the 3rd time after having technicians come out to "fix". Will not go with this model again...

Does not produce clean dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does not clean all of the items loaded in. I have followed all of the instructions in the manual and run the hot water from the tap as the service tech suggested and yet I find myself handwashing 20% of the items after they have gone through a single sometimes multiple cycles.
The location of the utensil caddy is poor. On several occassions the utensils placed in the caddy have cut the seal around the door.

It looks great, and is a good buy for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the appearance of this dishwasher, it looks great and the controls on the top give it a sleek appearance.
My only complaint is that it's not 100% in terms of cleaning hard food off plates. The steam function is good, but I wonder if it steams them long enough before starting it's cycle.

Very happy with this dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are extremely pleased with our purchase. The dishes are always clean, and we only minimally (and occasionally) pre-rinse our dishes. Also, it is easy to load, and holds a lot of dishes...way more so than our previous dishwasher. It not only looks great in the kitchen with its minimalist design, but the big surprise is how quiet the dishwasher is. Only reason the rating is slightly lower is that I wish it were more energy efficient.

Always pleased with GE Products; just don't like Tall Tub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this d/w for 5 months and it has been an adjustment from my previous familiar d/w. It is a tall tub, so the door opens just a few inches above the floor, which is too low for me. In the store they were all up on the wall, so unable to detect this. I noticed today that the seal on the side of the silverware tray was pulled out, as someone else mentioned. I always rinse my dishes because I do not want smelly dishes in the d/w, and only a couple of times found an item that was not well-cleaned. Loading the lower tray is not as simple as I would like because of the angles of the "slots." My salad/cereal bowls are wide & only fit in one section, and I can only put small dishes opposite plates or they will touch and can possibly break. All-in-all it is a very good machine and eventually I will adjust to loading it (I hope). P.S. - I do not wash pots in my d/w or overload it because I prefer to have clean dishes and sometime the finish on some pots can be negatively affected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is extremely quiet. It cleans extemely well using the recommended detergent. The glasses have no spots. It has a clean modern look. The total cycle is slightly longer than expected.
