Very Loud - Takes Too Long To Preheat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oven came with my new home so I had no choice. This thing takes forever to preheat, almost 15 minutes for a simple 375. It also smells like it's burning chemicals when it heats up. We've used it for 1 month now and it's still giving off the chemical smell. I can understand a slight burn-in period, but 1 month is kind of long to still have the smell. It's louder than the Frigidaire dishwasher that also came with our home, which is surprising considering this is an oven. Also, minor but easily overlooked feature that it lacks is the ability to see the temperature while it's preheating. It only shows you the temperature you have set, not the temperature that the oven is actually at as it preheats. You have no way of knowing if it's even close to reaching your desired temperature. If I had a choice I wouldn't get this item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy install on cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for a 15 year-old unit. The installation was very easy and straightforward. As there's only an upper heating element, the chamber has wide-open access for cleaning.
On the downside, it takes a while to come up to temperature. My experience has been 20 min to preheat to 400. Also, the fan vents warm air into the kitchen, which is undesirable in South Carolina summers. Lastly, the fan runs long after the oven is shut off. I understand the need to keep the electronics from overheating. However, I would think relocating the electronics to below the oven and just having the controls on top would resolve the design.
Overall, I'm pleased and would recommend it to others.

Times ranging from 10 to 17 minutes are normal to preheat to 350° F. Keeping the oven door closed during preheat may help to minimize the time required. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Consistent temperature allows me to produce tasty moist crumb cake and desserts for my bakery. So glad I purchased this oven. It's spacious inside allows me to bake a 16 inch cake without any problems.

This oven heats up fast and works great! The only issue we have had was with my boyfriend not reading where it says not to line the bottom with aluminum foil. 100% user error though.

Upon installation it was found to have the control broken apparently in transit. Parts were replaced and it has been working great. I am very pleased with its appearance and performance thus far.
