OOPS...not a true slide in
on June 22, 2015

Bought this stove to be a slide in but it is not a true slide in...it is made to only go so far in and than there is an empty space from the back of the stove to the wall. Now we have to have a contractor come and build a backing...and of course we cannot get the Formica top any longer so now we have to have tile to match the backsplash. NOT AT ALL HAPPY...wish the specks were more specific...which they were not!!! Largest burner only adjusts so much...which does not make me happy either!! And the FAN NOISE when the oven is on is ridiculously LOUD. Really not at all happy with this stove...BUT WE ARE STUCK WITH IT!!!! Maybe someone from Frigidaire would like to come to adjust the stove and maybe someone could a better description in their specks so that this does not happen to other homeowners!!!!!!!

Hi Stsskiing. I recognize your understanding of a slide in range is different that the design offered in your Frigidaire range model, FFGS3025PW. The 2” space behind the slide in range can be filled with previously installed countertops, or a rear filler kit as listed on the product specification sheet for this range. This extra space allows a built-in look and the capability of being able to showcase your backsplash, if desired, since there isn’t a back guard blocking it like a freestanding unit. We would be happy to assist you in obtaining a rear filler kit if you would like to contact us directly. The large burner, right front 15,000 BTU, is best used for bringing large quantities of liquid rapidly up to temperature or when preparing larger quantities of food. We do understand the cooling fan is noticeable when you are present around the oven during the cool down process. However, this is a vital function to keep your range working properly and safely. We do appreciate your time and commentary regarding your new slide in range and are happy to share these comments with our design team. Kind regards -

New Wall Oven

this came with the very expensive appliance package we paid extra for when building a new home. We are very dissatisfied with this product. Yes it cooks the food. But it is noisy. I can hear it on the other side of our 3,000 Sq. ft. house. It takes forever to heat up and with a hungry 2 year old, it has caused much inconvenience for us. This is also concerning because this is 30-40 minutes of power being used which took our old oven 5-10 minutes. Not very energy efficient if you ask me. Lastly, it blows hot air into our kitchen while preheating, cooking, and cooling down. We live in Texas and it is hot enough as it is. I am considering replacing this appliance which is only 4 months old. This will be out of my pocket after I have already paid for this with the building of our house. I would strongly recommend you reevaluate this product.

It's ok.

We bought this last year as a second oven for our new kitchen we added on to our home. Overall, it cooks well. I am not happy that it takes sooo long to preheat. Approximately 20 minutes to get to 350. All the the while a fan is running. It's "quiet", but audible and annoying. After turning the oven off, the fan continues
to run for an additional 20-30 minutes. I'm
hoping it's because it's new, but I have a difficult time sliding the racks in and out. They have a convenient "handle", but they seem to stick. Which was not good for my breads that I
baked. As rack jerked, my breads fell. Maybe a little WD40 can fix it?
Pluses: installation was easy, it's appearance is pleasant, and the price was right!

Thank you for reaching out to us, Donna and David, regarding the long preheat times for your wall oven. It appears that your model has the hidden bake feature which takes 10-20 minutes to preheat to 350 degrees. Its recommended to keep the door closed during preheat time to minimize the preheating time required. I hope this helps! Please don’t hesitate to reconnect with us should you have any other questions or concerns. Kind regards, LaCourtney

Wall oven

This oven was with the appliance package with the new home we built. My only complaint is that it takes so long to heat up. I have never had an oven take so long to preheat. This is very disappointing. The function is good once it FINALLY heats up. I think Frigidaire needs to take a look at this. I see many reviews with this complaint. There is something that needs to be addressed with this oven.

Middle of the Range!
on March 14, 2016

We purchased this slide-in, gas range about a month ago. We were forced to purchase a new range as the part that failed in our previous range was no longer available. Consequently, we had to scrap a range that was functioning just fine otherwise and apparently had built-in obsolescence. It is important to note, it was not a Frigidaire range.
I am not over the moon about this range, nor am I disappointed. The one feature I do not like is the air fan that blows to keep the parts cool. My question is, "If it were engineered appropriately in the first place, then why do you need a fan blowing air?" It is noisy and distracting, particularly after I have finished baking as the fan continues to blow to cool down the oven. My work-around is simply to keep the oven door propped open to vent the warm air and stop the fan from blowing longer. I surmise this will save on the electricity bill as well. My review title says it all. This is middle of the range and I honestly don't know if I would, or would not, recommend this product to a friend.

Bought a new home and the wall oven came with the home. I am more than pleased. I love that a fan comes on when the oven is turned on and when it is cooling down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sure it's a great product but was defective from the factory so I'm waiting on parts to fix it. A wire was not attach properly and it fried the control panel. Also, the fan runs constantly when the oven is on. My old one did not. That drives me crazy.
