Quality standards way below expectation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received it on April 22 and 2 weeks ago, the handle started peeling off like a paper.... I was told that I should not cook on the power heater which is located right under the handle. To buy an expensive item like this and then be restricted with how I should cook because the handle does not withstand heat!!!!!!!!!!!! Why would you make an "over the range" microwave if it cannot sustain heat???? The GE rep I spoke to asked me to try the new handle that she ordered for me prior to returning it as they stand behind their products.
Another issue with it is that the maximum weight on the defrost feature is lb1.0... and it is not as fast as my previous 12 year old over....

less impressive than the model it replaced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving from the touch screen to the dial is disappointing. The dial moves in 15 sec increments. Im used to selecting my time. Also you need to push the dial to enter but if it is not pushed directly on center, it goes back to previous screen, requiring you to reselect.

Worked for only two weeks

I bought this Microwave a month ago and I had to return it because it stopped working. In the middle of cooking, the microwave lost power. After a couple of hours, it would be functional again but then repeat when cooking again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave!

This microwave replaced a 20 year old GE Profile and I guess you can imagine I have a LOT to learn with all the new bells and whistles! Thankfully it comes with a manual and its not so hard to navigate. Love the auto night-light and the add 30 secs. Hopefully, this will also be another 20 year product!

I love it. Its so nice to have it off the counter. The light bulbs seem to get very hot in it. Other than that it works great.

I own this unit for 1.5 years. keypad stop working.
Unplug it for 5 min
Replug it work fin

But will stop working in 12 hours again
