Generally happy with the cook top. Two of the five burners have very small flames that are useless for me.

My First Gas Cooktop!

I love this! Never cooked with gas before but I love this cooktop. It is easy to use and clean. Has a smaller burner for small pots and one large one too. Wish it had a "low burner" signal if you happen to leave a burner on simmer by accident. But other than that I am VERY pleased with this

After 15 months no trouble and still like it.

I wanted to wait to review this cook top until I had had it awhile. We've had it for 15 months now and use it regularly including 2 holiday seasons. This New Year's my grown son and I cooked dinner together and that went well It has been wonderful. Haven't had any problems and am enjoying working on it.

SS gas cooktop works great!

We bought the SS GE cooktop to give an updated look. We had the same unit, but black for the last 7 years. The old unit had no issues. Of note, is that GE has a slightly smaller in counter rough cut demension then other companies, so it was easier just to put this one in.

This stove-top is very attractive and offers a variety of burner sizes from which to choose. However, it seems as though it takes a lot longer to heat up a teakettle of water than with our old electric burner. (I think that the grate may be too far above the flame.) The stainless is also tough to keep clean in the fact that it must be cleaned up immediately to prevent stains/pits.
