Love my speedo shine with one exception

I have had my speedo shine for about 5 months now and i love it the main reason I purchased this one was for the swimming aspect of it, however that also brings me to the one issue i have with it it tracks lengths not laps once this was confusing at first and i have to adjust it every time im finished swimming which is a little frustrating, hoping you improve on this feature in the future to actually count laps and not lengths. But I love it over all I never take it off, I recently competed in the Mud Hero which is a muddy obstacle course and it stayed on the whole time through every thick mud swamp it was great. i love the magnetic clip for the shoes for when I am biking or running, the sleep tracker isn't very accurate but its not bad. Overall very satisfied with this product.

great for swimmers...until it stops working

So basically I love the misfit speedo shine and it works really well for me as a swimmer, but the battery life is awful and my shine keeps losing track of my progress because for some reason the batteries won't work with it. Another thing is that my misfit has become really scratched but that might just be because I use it so regularly.

The Speedo Shine works awesome. I someone I know has the Misfit Shine 2 swimmers edition, which doesn't work as well and seems cheeper. It does get scratched and scraped though. When I tag an activity to start, sometimes it ends it itself when it thinks I'm done, which messes up my runs, and sleep sometimes. Auto-Tracking sleep is awesome. I click nothing, it knows from my motion if I am asleep. I wake up early and take off my shine to shower, and it thinks I am still asleep when I shower, but otherwise this is a amazing product.

I love being the MisFit, as everyone feels they are sometimes. My other "fit" devices were not water proof, sweat proof. I live around the lake and was constantly slipping my arm into the water. Now, no worries, it is a permanent piece of jewelry. In and out of the shower and through all exercise.

I like the concept of it. The app is easy to use and read. But while swimming a 2 hour practice it only logs about 20-30 minutes. My son is on a very competitive HS swim team. When he is done practice the app tells him to swim another hour. I am not sure what is wrong with it.

Directions are not thorough enough and getting the battery in the unit is difficult. I still don't know how to sync the shine or understand how to program the activity or read the data . To me it's not a user friendly device and I wanted one that I could use in the pool and doubt this could be the one that will be easy to use
