Nice but oops!

The cooktop is nice and works well, easy installation instructions to convert to lp gas.
Ony problem. In removing the old GE gas cooktop and putting in the new one. There is a one inch gap (either at the back or front/ your choice).
It appears the old 30" GE is larger than the new one. Now I need to figure out how to fill the hole withour replacing the granite countertop ?

Gas At Last

Three days without electricity gave me the excuse to ditch my electric cooktop and go back to the gas I am used to. It is easy to clean, has the extra middle burner. The grids are heavy to lift for cleaning, but should last forever. I look forward to using it for many years.

I purchased this cook top in stainless steel in November 2013 so that I would have it in time for holiday entertaining. I was totally pleased and my house guests were impressed! First, it is fabulous looking! It really helped modernize my kitchen. Next, it is great that GE was able to create a five-burner cooktop using the standard four-burner surface space; I am able to cook five pots of food simultaneously! While cleaning the cook top, the burner knobs can turn on rather easily; however, no problem, I just turn the knob lock on.

Looks great and easy to Clean

This cook top is very stylish and is the perfect compliment to my favorite room in the house - the kitchen. The best part about this cooktop is that it is super easy to clean. You just lift up the grates to clean around the burners. It doesn't get much better than that.

Middle power rage is really good. Back ranges are weak. And the heavy range stands scratches the steel so have to be overly cautious to remove it

Have used this for over a month and we think it's great. Replaced our old porcelain over steel cooktop and this one is far easier to clean. We looked at other brands, and this one appeared to be easiest to clean, plus it was made in USA. The cooktop does all that we need it to, plus we got it for an excellent price.

Five burners

Burners give various amounts of heat.
Big pots might interfere with other pots due to limited size of grill.
