Burners don't get hot enough to boil water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only the center burner gets hot enough to boil a pot of water. We bought a gas cooktop because gas burners heat up quickly and are easier to cook with than electric. But the four side burners don't get hot, just warm. It takes forever to try and cook something on them. After a week of late dinners, we've given up and just use the center burner for cooking. I don't understand what the side burners are supposed to be used for. They certainly don't work for cooking food. I am angry that we wasted so much money on this useless appliance.

Burners are too far from the bottom of what you are cooking on. It takes forever to boil water and the cooking temp is a pain to keep where you want it. The knobs are cheap plastic and broke in the first 5 months. Worst cooktop ever! Waste of money and time. I’m already looking to replace it!

Only center burner useful..Other four burners are waste

Like the look of it...But we can use only center burner for cooking. It takes forever to cook on the other four burners. The height of the Grates is the issue...Heat spreads around and doesn't reach the pot much..I am really dissapointed with this product. We wasted lot of money for this.

This came with the new house and we are very disappointed with the poor features.The griddle is too high from the burner and it takes too long to cook the food. The pan handle get too hot. The griddles are too heavy that it is too hard to lift and clean the stove. I have asked for a replacement but didn't get it. Will not recommend this to anyone.

Stunning cooktop

This five burner cooktop has style, performance with no wasted space. The drip basin, cast iron grill covers and sealed burners are easily cleaned with soap and water when the occasional spill occurs. Heat control is accurate for maintaining a low simmer, too obtaining a quick high heat for boiling or frying. The center power burner is great for large pasta pots, flat griddle or grill pans, and yes other pots can be used in conjunction with the center burner even though it is only a 30" cooktop. Very happily satisfied with this product!! Ha

Does not heat properly

Bought this 8 months ago and have had problems the entire time. Left front burner know will not turn, locking light flickers off and on, and will not boil large pot of water. After 1.5 hours temperature would not get over 210. Did a controlled test with just 10 quarts water and a stock pot on power boil.

Grates are far above from burner

Builder gave these ranges. Grates are are far above from burner. Looks like very inefficient
