Nice looking, didn't last.

This cooktop came with our new house. A year and a half later, the knob for the middle burner got stuck in the ON position. Had the call the gas company to turn the gas off so it wouldn't burn all night. I'm handy, so I took it all apart and still couldn't fix it. If you want a good looking cooktop and never plan to use it - this one's for you. Otherwise if you plan on using it for longer than 18 months, you might want to look someplace else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Definitely like the 5 burner GE Profile gas cooktop. The only negative is that the grates are very heavy. Need to take care when removing to clean cooktop.

Really like the center burner

I almost got your 4 burner with knobs on the side. I'm so glad I found this one instead I love the center for larger pots. I've never had gas before so I''m still on a learning curve.

5 burner range

got this range for the 5-burner layout and the front controls. the smaller front burners heat up fast and are hot enough even on the lowest settings to cook anything. The center burner comes in handy for large pots. Having the controls in front and lights to show which burners are on, especially when they burners are on low, is a great safety feature.

like the five burners

I like it very much but there are a couple things bother me
I wish instead of both small being in the back one would be
in the front and one medium in front. I also would like to know
what to clean the black with so it won't be so streaked
