Love the look - love having 5 burners but!

I replaced my electric stove with this and am thrilled to have gas again. I love the stove but find it hard to clean. Even if I use one burner (for example just for eggs) the splatter requires me to clean almost the entire stove. The grates are a bit heavy for me. Other than that, I do love it!

Burners are too close together to use more than 2 at a time. Even the largest burner takes a long time to boil water. On the other end of the spectrum, if you turn the nob to the lowest setting, the flame will go out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good stovetop

We are very happy with the new gas stove top. My one suggestion would be to include the tool to adjust the burner flame. After two service calls to the local gas company the large quick burner does not perform any different than the other four burners.

The stove top looks great
however there are couple of problems:
1. The distance between the burner and gas flame causes the heating process to take a long long time. To hear 2 cups of water on medium burner flame, it takes good 15 minutes or so. This makes the small flame burners completely unusable.
2. The knobs even though made of stainless steel, the connector inside the knob is made up of plastic. Our stove top is only 2 years old but one of the knobs has already broken during cleaning.

Just moved into a new home with this brand new cooktop. Love the locking feature and it seems very easy to clean. Will update review if needed after more use.

I have always had all my kitchen appliances from G.E. When it was time to upgrade I was surprised at how many advances were put into this model stove. We are very pleased with the function and ease of cleaning it.

Wonderful gas cooktop

I just converted from a glass electric cooktop to this new gas cooktop. I'll tell you, I thought the glass cooktop was the best, but they are awful compared to this gas cooktop. I highly recommend it. I have it over a wall oven and since the depth of this cooktop was less than other brands, it fit great.

My local appliance shop matched the price of nearby big box stores, and their installation was perfect (widening the hole a bit required some cutting, and then they shop-vacced away the mess). This unit sits higher than the previous one, but had the clearance to allow me to keep the drawer underneath it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
