Bought this cooktop for my wife to replace electric cooktop and she loves it ! It was a piece of cake to install over her oven .

I really like the look of this cooktop and the cleanup is a breeze with the sealed area and easy lift-off of the grates. The problem I am having is that food seems to take FOREVER to heat up. Talk about the famed "watch pot"! Bringing water to a boil is a REDICULOUSLY long wait, even on the "rapid boil" large, middle burner. I think maybe the grates sit too low to allow maximum heat from the flame to make efficient heating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced an electric glass cook top with this and could not be happier. I have always enjoyed cooking with gas in both my motorhome and summer home and am so happy I finally made the switch at my main house!

5 Burners...a big plus.

My wife is the cook, and she just loves the 5-burner arrangement, and on a few occasions in the few months the cooktop has been in use she has used all 5 at the same time. The cooktop grates are very rugged, and the fit and finish is much nicer than the previous gas stove we owned which was replaced by this cooktop. Good even flame. Quick ignition. Cleanup is easy.

Very nice features, I like the lock device to avoid a child turning on.Nice looking stainless stell adds to the kitchen.

You get what you pay for. This was not too expensive and the quality is adequate. Does not heat up as fast as my previous gas stovetop that had less BTUs. Has 5 burners that get cramped if you have more than 2 pots/pans on the cooktop. The configuration does not easily allow for a two burner griddle. I've had this product for two months and I am getting used to it. This was meant as a quick replacement. Hope to redo my kitchen in next few years. When I do, I plan on replacing this stovetop at that time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
