Would like a different blade for S base.

We have a different brand of blender that is not as powerful but has only the inverted blade, not the top one as on the Vitamix. It works the best for smoothies,
no pulse needed, just turn it on and it takes care of the rest. I suppose I could Dremel off the top blade on an S base and give it a try myself but I think I would prefer Vitamix just making a different blade that works for smoothies and not pretend that one blade is perfect for 10 jobs.

Very disappointed in the overall power just to make a smoothie it’s power is not up to par
Also the container you get with it is very small on the inside and the lid is very difficult to pop on and off when you’re taking sips .

I love this machine but it confuses me a bit. Maybe Vitamix can weigh in on this. it does the job but I don't really see it spin my smoothie mix around and sounds like it's just mixing the very bottom by the blades and doesn't really get the top of the smoothie. I use the temper and that's the only way it works itself through. which is fine but I kind of wish it would do more on it's own. Also, it feels like it's not catching and I wonder sometimes if it isn't. something might be wrong with mine, not absolutely sure though. I can attach a video and you can tell me. Or Vitamix please get back to me and I can sen you a video. thanks!

I love the product. The size is great for my tiny kitchen. The only suggestion I would say is that when using the individual smoothie container, the powders get caught at the top of the mixer when blending and vigorous stamping is required to stop shake it down.

Although, i had to wait 1.5 month to get my S55... I finally got it and i'm not disappointed, it was like a love at first sight, it does exactly what it supposed to and better. You can't go wrong with Vitamix

S55 and 750

I have had the 750 for several years and it does EVERYTHING perfectly. I have a second home in Florida and really missed my 750 but opted for the S55. It does exactly what the 750 does just in smaller batches and possibly on some things another 15 seconds. I wouldn't trade either one of them for any other brand.
