Way too hot!!!

Bought this grill to take on the boat. Used it twice and each time got way to hot and burned our food. Low temp on the regulator is way too hot! My 10 year old said the burgers tasted like charcoal. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

FINALLY!!

Bought this 2 years ago and it is the best BBQ grill i have ever owned/used. This thing gets RIPPING HOT!! I have been looking for a propane BBQ all my grilling days that gets hot enough to rival charcoal (1st choice). This grill gets up to a proper temp. to allow for a beautiful sear without overcooking!! It slow cooked a rack of ribs to perfection!! A little secret to that feat was to invest in the regulator adapter for the 20 gal. tank to run off of rather than the small cylinder. When things are cooking a little too fast, I just cranked down on the valve on the top of the tank to get the output low enough to hold the temp. between 250-275.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Regretting purchasing this grill

The size, portability, and overall design of the grill is great. It feels sturdy, however after using it for the first time this past weekend over a 2 day camping trip I noticed a few things.
1. Literally within about 8 hours after using it the first, which included me heating up frozen breakfast burritos, you could see discoloration and rust on the left side of the grate. No water was applied to it, grill was left open to come to a complete cool down and I'm not sure how some a poor quality material made it into a "higher end" portable grill.
2. The regulator does very little to regulate the temperature. Even on the lowest setting the grill was getting to 450-500 degrees when closed.

Gas regulator broke

Great grill but the gras regulator broke and doesn’t fully shut off the gas so you have to disconnect the tank completely when not using the grill.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is a good design and sturdy built. Grill gets very hot. Bad parts about this grill are grate gets cloged very easy and has to be cleaned after each use. The biggest problem with this grill is flame goes out and restarting it can cause an explosion. I have tried turning grill away wind and still happens. Unsafe and needs to be corrected . If temp drops, check flame before pushing igniter.

Great design, poor execution!

I had to make modifications to this grill which most people would not be able to achieve. This is a very dangerous grill for many reasons. Keep looking!

This is very well made. I see people complaining about cost- well, you get what you pay for with this grill. I’ve had it for years and it keeps performing.
