Grates are not near great

I love to grill and have a small patio so was gifted this table top for the two of us. It is smaller than you would think so it is hard to cook both vegetables and meat on the grill at the same time so i am still having to cook items in the oven. The grates are absolutely horrible to clean. Don't even think about having any marinate on anything cause just after one use with only a bit of marinate and the grates are clogged and then cooking unevenly. I wish I would have asked for the receipt to take this back after one use. Makes me never want to grill since it is so much work to clean every time and only fits meat or vegetables usually.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Grill. Do not waste your money

I typically like Char-Broil products, but this grill is a complete failure. Consistently keeps going out... never know if its "on or off"... wastes so much gas. Do not buy. I wish I could return this grill.

I bought this grill last year for camping as a picnic table top grill. But I quickly found that it burns food unless you constantly watch it. The gas flame control valve is completely useless as there is no change in flame height from low to high flame setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Temp. Control

I bought this grill April, '19. There is NO temperature control. Set it to low, set it to max., you get close to 700° every time.

To HOT!!!

I'm on my second full size infrared grill and i love those. I bought hoping for the same experience while camping however it burns so hot with the unit turned as low as it will go that it turns everything to charcoal before you can even begin to cook it through. I don't recommend this product. However the larger versions are fantastic.

got rid of my big grill

We purchased this grill almost 2 years ago for our off road camping trips because of its size, the infrared heat and the price. It was money well spent! It does not take up much of the limited space in our offroad utility trailer. I hooked it up with the adapter hose to a 5lb tank that gives us weeks of cooking time using it for several meals a day. Yes it does seem to burn hot but it does a great job and i feel it has acually improved the quality of our meals. I liked it so much that when my big grill needed some parts I decided just to get rid of it and now just use the X-200 on my front porch at least three times a week and will probably buy another just to use for camping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Flare ups all the time, on low is 450 degrees, cannot get it to go lower.

Great grill for it's size

Nice size for smaller setting area. Cooks great, looks very nice, easy clean up, Bought this for our boat and never regretted it.
