I like this grill. Its the only one I ever bought that I didnt have to assemble. Outstanding feature. Easy to attach tank and valve. Cant wait to start cooking on it.

I've had this grill 4 years now. At the start of the 5th grilling season the grill finally started rusting away. The replacement grill from CharBroil is only $18, which was the best price I found online. The only problem I would say I have is that, even on the lowest setting, the internal temp goes to 600, and you can burn your food if you leave the top closed for smoking and walk away for just a few minutes. This unit works best with the top always open. The grill snaps closed and carries easily by the handle, so it truly is portable. It fits nicely in one of the storage cubbies on my RV.

My Grill is differant

My wife bought this grill for me as a birthday gift after carefully reading reviews, she knows that I like to cook steaks at a high temperature and thought this would be the perfect gift the very first time I tried my grill I was excited when the thermostat pegged at 650 deg. I have owned this grill for almost 2 years and have never got it to go over 350 deg. since, I have pulled it all apart cleaning everything and have tried using small and large propane bottles, I read other reviews and would be willing to trade mine with one that cooks hotter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT CONCEPT, POOR EXECUTION

I have a big 3-burner 20 year-old competitors gas grill (with the original ignitor and burners!), but wanted something sized better for meals for 2. I bought this on the recommendation of a friend with the full-size two-burner TRU-Infrared. Raves he’s never burned anything. However, he purposely picked the solid heat tent/grate system as opposed to the perforated, correctly deducing the latter would quickly clog. This is the main downfall of this grill. Mandatory burn-off/scraping/brushing/oiling of the grate after each use is ridiculous. I love how quickly this cooks and the great flavor, but the required care is pushing me back to my old low-maintenance grill. Oh, and the ignitor on unit this quit after a few months use :^(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
