Great Printer, Great Price

Easy to set up and use. Clear copies with no smears. Installation was a snap for all features. I was most happy with the ease of switching between the type of copies I needed.

i was very impressed with the ease of software installation. took no time at all. the hook-up to the computer was simple. the printer itself, prints perfect pictures, documents, fax and scans. i feel i found the perfect fit for my at home employment.

scanning issues

The workforce 435 I bought at a great price. The printing is good. The colors are great. The reasons I rate it at three stars are I am disappointed by the auto feed and scanner. The auto feed sometimes gets stuck so the scanned document words get smeared and are not readable so I stopped using the autofeed and it would cut off 1/4 inch of the information on top. Also, all my documents scanned are always slightly tilted and never straight. I do like the ease of scanning just not the results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had to call to have help to install. The driver software and the firm ware were both out of date. It would not recognize windows 7. I have to install the printer from the printer, and the easy start direction did not explain how to do this, It took me over thirty minutes on the phone. The accent of the service person was very difficult to understand, but he did know how to do it. After It was in installed, I had to download up-to-date drivers and firmware to get the scanner to work, and everything else I hope. This was the worst install; I have ever had.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for my home office and kids school work

Nice to print wirelessly, love the quiet mode or fast print when needed. Easy to use, perfect with 2 buttons for color copies or button for just B/W printing on copies saves ink. Scans very good and the 3 color and one black cartridges are easy to install and replace. RPSON just changed my mind on their printers many years back had an EPSON and was not too happy on ink consumption this one is GREAT! speacially select draft mode and your ink last twice as long or more just at half darkness. very good for miscellaneous prrinting. Overall a good solid printer abd economical.

I was very impressed with the ease of installation. I had more trouble removing the previous printer's drivers than anything. The new Epson is kind of noisy when printing but much faster than my old printer. The print quality is excellent.

This printer is a nightmare!

Too many uninstallments and re-installments I've gone through with this printer. No easy way to check and resolve problems clearly. Too many options for a novice. Wish I could return it for a different, easier to use brand of printer.

Not very good

This was my first Epson printer. I bought it for an inexpensive all-in-one for home use. This unit worked fine out of the box for about 6-8 mos. Then the printing quality gradually got worse. It's like when it prints text it's misaligned and does not print on top of the other text. The result is a blurred mess that makes your eyes hurt. I am not sure if someone in the family messed something up when trying to replace ink cartridges. Regardless, it never printed in a legible format again. I have searched the Internet for assistance. I have run all the alignment processes. Nothing has helped. As a result, I decided to buy a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
