Going to have to buy stock in an ink factory

Nice printer/copier/scanner for the money. But I'm going to have to buy stock in an Epson ink cartridge factory to keep up with the thirst of this printer. Bought it in December and I drained the black cart on VERY light usage. Also, found out that there's a chip in the cart that shuts off use after you've printed a certain number of times, even if there's ink left in the cart. I'm going to buy a chip resetter that will disable that and at least allow me to use the full amount of ink I've purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like everything about this printer; however, whenever I turn my computer off, the printer completely loses the connection, then must be uninstalled, then reinstalled for it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this product because of it's versatility, (copy, scan, print, & fax). I've been using it for about two weeks now and I love it! The set-up is easy, and the instructions for each function are simple. I'm excited to use this product and will surely stick with Epson for future products.

The newest Workforce model. Computer installation set-up choices could be better explained. Otherwise, the printer window is self-explanatory, without the use of the manual. Shakes somewhat when activated. Placed a very thin open-holed non-slip grid mat underneath to stabilize the printer. Macintosh 10.7 Lion should be installed through Epson's support website only. Do not insert the disc
Haven't used the fax yet. Appears to print lively and fast. Sturdy unit. Epson's customer service is very friendly and cooperative.

I usually love Epson printers, however, the workhorse 435 is a most hateful machine.
I wanted a printer to use for home/small business, and I don't use my printer very often. This is a good thing as the paper is very difficult to load, and seldom feeds well.
The top feed doesn't feed more than 1 page without jamming, and the fax doesn't ring in tandem with any other fax line. Out of 10 attempted faxes NONE has gone thru. My (insert very well known cheap printer name here# NEVER FAILED AT FAXING so I know it isn't my line.
This printer uses a fair amount of ink. One of the pluses was suppose to be the low cost of ink. That is true, the ink cartridges are much less expensive, however, I seem to use twice as much ink making it more expensive in the long run. #I print most everything in draft, and seldom print photos)
I know, from past use of Epson products, that this printer model is the exception to the rule. However, I am counting the MINUTES until I can replace this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Epson Workforce 435 as it is a multi-function machine. The price was just fantastic for an all-inclusive workhorse. The color is great and the copying and scanning works perfect. Just one thing I have to get worked out and that is the Wi-Fi because the machine got unpluged and when I tried to send a Wi-Fi print job it failed --when I tried many times to set it back up again with the driver CD I get a failed error for the drivers that work this feature, I need help! --AngieISD

I just bought this all in one and I love it. It scans so quick and prints so well. I am making cookbooks for my 9 grandchildren and including pictures of each dish. The colors are vibrant. Yes I would recommend this to my friends and family.
