I absolutely love this product! The vacuum has great suction power for a cordless! The smaller cleaning base fits nicely in small areas, like around the toilet! I also like the fact that you can use this as a canister as well, very nice for stairs.

I like that it is a small cordless vacuum with a wand. It had good suction, and picked up the small items on my hardwood floor well. It stopped a few times while I was using it. Honestly, I did not read the instructions thoroughly so it's possible I was doing something wrong.

I love, love, love this vacuum! I have 2 large dogs and hardwood floors so I'm constantly cleaning up hairballs This vacuum does the job! I love the cordless feature. I love that the battery comes out for charging. This means I don't need to keep it on a charging base in between uses. I just store it in a closet. The battery life is great, too. This machine allows me to love my hardwood floors again!

I think for a battery unit the vacuum works well. Regular vacuuming is pretty good and picked up everything on carpet or bare floors. You can turn off the roller easily. The roller does turn off on it's own if it encounters to much pressure which seems to require the machine to be turned on and off to get it going again. Not a big deal and probably protects from other problems. Only real issue I have is with using the hose. For whatever reason the suction on the hose if very slight. Works okay to get dustballs on a bare floor but not enough to pick anything up off a carpet. Best used with brush pushed back out of the way. With the brush the suction is to slight to work. I think if you were using this as a primary vacuum you would need a 2nd battery pack, but for small areas, occasional use the battery life is pretty good.

This vacuum does not have the suction I was counting on, it is difficult to keep clean and I have trouble getting it back together after I clean it. I think my main problem with this is the removal of the battery to charge it. I have arthritis in my hands and cannot get the battery out. I have to have help. I really like the fact that it is cordless though but will have to thing twice before buying another Bissell, I need something that is not so hard to keep clean and a better way to charge the battery. I also miss the pet attachment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
