[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unable to keep his vacuum cleaner because I have small hands, and the parts need larger, stronger hands than mine. No one with arthritis or tendonitis in the hand they use the most should purchase this, but instead consider the AirRam. The Powerglide does not glide -- one really has to push it. There's a handle on the lift off as well as the regular handle so that helped me push with two hands. As well, the battery has to be removed to be recharged, and I found removing the battery difficult because my hand size. I also found it too difficult to use the lift-off option that looks so appealing in the advertising but someone else might really appreciate this. The Powerglide has options that my second and best choice lacked - power levels, brushes off and on. If someone has a lot of bare floors, then this would be a consideration -- I don't. I did find that dog hair wound itself around the brushes, which are longer and more closely positioned than in the AirRam, and they had to be removed manually after cutting between the brushes with a scissors..I think the Powerglide is an excellent choice for someone who has a lot of vacuuming to do, doesn't mind having to push, and is able to use the lift-off option. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with the Air Ram. Please note - I am just a purchaser who dealt directly with Bissell online, and then received excellent customer service when I called about some difficulties because of my hand size and strength. I want to finish by saying that Bissell charges less for products that are better made than most competitors I'm aware of and they offer better prices on the same merchandise than some other web seller sites.

This new vacuum works great. I like the weight of it the most. It is very lite in weight.. It vacuums up very quickly. I like how it detaches to a hand held unit as well. Works well for vacuuming a car.

This is my first cordless vacuum, and I am amazed at how much I like the convenience of moving around without having to maneuver the cord while vacuuming.. It was easy to put the vacuum together, and I was very happy with how lightweight it is, even with the battery. The battery was easy to charge and easy to place into the vacuum. I was pleasantly surprised that the vacuum is powerful and also lightweight. Very easy to move around and direct with the swivel head.. I used the vacuum for about an hour and the charge was as strong at the beginning as at the end. I tried it on area run, hardwood floors, couch, and "runner" carpet on the stairs. It picked up dirt everywhere! The lift-off canister is easy to take off of the vacuum and easy to empty. I like that it is bagless, as that makes it easy to use as well. My husband commented on how effective it is AND how quiet! This is a great vacuum!

Unique little vacuum. I like the unit as it easy to go from one room to other without dragging a bunch of cord. It has "fair to good" suction and in some cases does take a second sweep across area to get all dirt and dog hair cleaned up. It is a perfect vacuum for quick mess clean-ups as well as it's ability to go under a lot of areas, #furniture# due to it's capability to swivel where a bigger machchine cannot go or reach. It is a perfect "small job" vacuum.

I would like to rectify my previous rating of a 1 star. My Vacuum had stopped working after a month, was just getting clogged every time we used it. I was very upset and contacted Bissell to complain. Elaine was very kind and helpful. It turned out all my vacuum really needed was a good filter clean (which only took a few minutes and then a full night for complete dry time) We do a lot of heavy duty vacuuming in my house with a husky and a 2 year old running about. After I did the cleaning everything that was clogged in the vacuum came shooting out into the canister and it worked like new again. So very happy that's all it took. Elaine's costumer service was excellent!!! Thank you again.

I love this vacuum. I use it more for "industrial" cleaning (I clean buildings in the evenings which is why I wanted to buy a cordless vacuum so I could be more time efficient). The pros for me in order: cordless, long battery life, lightweight. The power was acceptable since most of my vacuuming is low pile carpets.
I would recommend this to a friend!
