Great phone, excellent support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the phone 8 months ago. I'm heavyily rely on smartphones and use it 10+ hours a day. After 8 months main board gave up (I had phones with way shorter lifespan). I contacted LG support and they fixed it right away. Very satisfied. Thanks LG. My next purchase will be LG Oled and v20.

Boot loop!!

100% chance of dying a horrible death

I worked for two years as a phone tech, starting shortly before the release of this phone. I came to learn that it was only a matter of time (I'd estimate about a year) before this travesty of a phone crapped out at the motherboard level (meaning that there is no repairing this phone; if it goes, it must be replaced). The 1st run of G4s was recalled for a problem with the screen, which was resolved with the recall. The 2nd run, however, was recalled for an issue that caused the phone to periodically crash and restart, eventually getting so bad that the phone would go no further than the LG logo screen before rebooting again. The recall completely failed to solve this problem. If you have an LG G4, be very certain you've backed up any and all data you don't want to be gone forever, and get a different phone as soon as you can possibly manage. Apart from that, this phone showed virtually no improvement in specs over its predecessor, the G3, which was actually a really decent device (I owned it for two years, then sold it to a family member after I upgraded, and it's still in good, working condition).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst phone ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I leased 5 of these from Sprint back in June 2015. With battery remaining, they would turn themselves off randomly. All 5 powered themselves off and could not be turned back on. In most cases to my dissatisfaction, Sprint replaced the dead phone with another LG G4. Some of the replacements have also died randomly. They don't seem to make it a year before they die. We have had at least 9 LG G4's but only 2 still work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I see so many review's saying worst phone ever,waste of money,or something wrong.Truth is, this is one of the best devices ever built.This is a real smartphone, it's compadable with everything,cdma,gsm.I'm on Verizon now,(cdma) but was on T-Mobile first(gsm).this phone is for advanced users.Lg makes beginner phones too.So don't talk bad about this phone if you are not educated in android at an advanced level
