great phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone in august 2015 and it has never failed me. Added 64gb micro sd card, it has over a thousand beautiful photos and over 600 songs on it. I have dropped it many times on concrete, with no issues. Bought a cheap rubber case from china 2 years ago (99 cents). The only issue l have had is the battery life. But thanks to the easily removable battery, multiple batteries and a seperate charger, i'm never tethered to a wall socket. l will mourn the day when this thing passes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My First LG Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG4 was my first LG phone. I truly want to love this phone, but the faults make that tough! It looks great, and feels good in the hand. It charges quickly. Problems have been it will freeze and battery at times discharges quickly. When it freezes, often the only cure is to remove and replace the battery if it won't reboot. The battery discharge is intermittent and just needs to be dealt with as it happens. When not dealing with these issues, I do love this phone!!

Very disappointed

Camera doesn't work, phone freezes up and dies, flashlight doesn't work, and keyboard works part time. Just disappointed in LG and them putting out bad products. Had a different LG phone before getting the G4 and it also died on me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Phone crashed at 26 months

Slick, good features, but slow & randomly restarts

This is a slick phone that's easy to open up and work on. The battery and components are inexpensive and can be replaced easily, and I like the cameras, headphone jack, and micro-SD card slot. Unfortunately, the performance is rather sluggish compared to comparable phones from the time it was made. Additionally, mine (and many others') randomly restarts for no reason, often several times in a row when I need it most. So I'm looking at other models, since I can't stand the slow performance and random restart loops.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LG G4 - Still my favorite phone

The LG G4 mobile phone is still my primary phone. I still use it for talk, text, music, occasional photos and short videos. I have owned this phone for 10 years. Knocking on wood as I type this. A battery charge on this phone lasts three to five days. I have even dropped this phone on the floor a few times and the screen has not cracked. I do not have a protective case as I could never find one made for this model.
This was a worthwhile investment. I only wish that LG would sell phones in the US again.

Downside of course is that because of its age, the OS is outdated and the 32G storage is simply not enough room to store too many pictures or videos, while I've have almost 3000 songs on this device.

Cons Ruin It For The Pros

Also, phone gets EXTREMELY hot after a few minutes of use. Back to an iPhone for me. The G4 ruined Androids for me.
