Fast SSD

850 EVO is faster than most SSDs on benchmarks. 4K read and 4K write is what you want to look for in SSD performances. Uses V-NAND technology.

I installed 1tb in a mid 2012 MacBook Pro non retina. Running great on both Mac OS and bootcamp win 10 pro, as well as using parallels. I had used a hybrid drive, but couldn't tell a real difference until this ssd came along. Boots really quickly, and running a virtual instance of windows is no longer a pain for me. Battery life has increased incredibly, as long as I'm not streaming a movie or playing a game. I suspect its due to not having to access the drive as long to pull up a file. Overall, I am incredibly impressed especially since this is my first solid state drive, plus the free game was part of my decision to purchase directly from Samsung.
Pros: affordable, free game with qualifying drive

Better than my Intel SSD

Love the looks of this SSD. Very sleek and nice. Pretty fast and reponsive. The program to migrate your files is simple and easy to use and the intrcutions were well done. It even came with Watch Dogs 2. Great product to have for 2016.

The best SSD hard drive there is .I used the first two i bought , which were two 1 TB Samsung EVO in my second computer build .

This SSD is fast and friendly. It installs easy and works well. Fast..561 read, when I checked once. It has held up on iMac 2011! and Mac Pro 2008. Yes even these old Macs are blazing fast, once I replaced the Hard Drives with the Samsung 850 EVO SSD. Thanks Samsung.

Nothing beats an EVO

Samsung EVOs are simply the best you can buy. And nothing speeds up a system like an SSD. They even have Samsung Migration Software to easily transfer your system from a spinner (mechanical) to SSD.
Pros: best quality on the market today
