Made a huge difference in gaming and boot up times

I have been on mechanical hard drives for years, my main drives were WD Vraptors 600gb, I started to get longer load times, slight stuttering of my fps/performance in games as assets started to load in. The SSD made it all go away was not expecting it to make such a huge difference. The tech is finally mature enough and at the right price point to get. If you don't have a SSD get one!
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, fast

I installed EVO 850 500GB SSD following instructions. The first installation attempt was not completely successful.
The migration software seemed to work but the computer would not boot from SSD.
After receiving a migration software update, I followed the installation instructions again.
Installation was successful.
My boot up time went from 5-10 minutes to less than a minute. Programs load much faster and seem to execute faster.
My SSD has been in use about two weeks and I am very pleased with it.

Excellent overall, but...

Just one little thing kept me from giving the Features category 5 stars, and that's the inability to enable RAPID mode. From what I read online, and the note in Samsung Magician saying it's unable to obtain info about my OS, this limitation is due to Samsung Magician not fully supporting Windows 10 yet. Aside from that small issue, the SSD is amazingly fast! I'm extremely happy with it!
Pros: Inexpensive, super-fast, easy to migrate to ssd

Awesome SSD

I bought this product because of all the reviews over SSD vs HDD and this SSD doesn't disappoint. load times have increased greatly, will be purchasing a 1TB model next!
Pros: fast read/write times
Cons: cost vs hdd but worth it.

Can't Beat Samsung SSD's

Best bang for the buck of any brand on the market. My 850 EVO beats any midrange for only a little more money and many high end SSD's that cost much more.

Just installed this SSD into my Imac 2011

Just installed this SSD into my Imac 2011 - what a difference. Boot up previously took nearly 3 minutes now it is just a few seconds. Applications start immediately.

This is the Second Solid State drive I have bought from Samsung, After I cloned my old 1TB I ran a complete reinstall. It took no time at all. Amazingly fast.
