Best upgrade

Used on a dual core laptop with Windows 10. OEM drive made the computer run very slow. Watching videos was choppy and accessing data and internet was disappointing. Cloning the PC drive to the Samsung SSD was extremely easy and fast. Instead of wanting to buy a new Laptop, the price of the SSD compared to a new computer with a faster CPU is no longer a consideration. I have upgraded all of my desktops to Samsung SSD. Even the fastest Corei7 gets dramatic performance improvement. Creating DVDs in half the time, editing video quicker. Now when GIGABIT internet speed becomes available, I wont need the expensive "cable TV".

This SSD from samsung is the best on the market. Elegant design, premium-feel for normal price as an SSD. Performance is the best, and yet, this product somehow made me like i am never enough to be productive, because of the performance opening all apps i want open in a second.

Great product good software. Great value .Bang for the buck hands down. Replace 120 gb Intel drive too small for OS. This 1TB is the berry's.

Not only is this drive fast, but the Data Migration software was fast, too. Cloned my 120 GB drive in just a few minutes. I was staring at the green Completed banner for several minutes before I realized it was done and not a progress indicator that wasn't moving!

No problems, easy & simple install and data transfer; Used acronis 11 image for flawless replacement of previous SSD

Great Drive + 5 Year Warranty!

A month ago I purchased the EVO 850 mSATA variant and was so impressed, I decided to upgrade my Corsair Force GS 240GB SSD with this item. Well, I am so glad I did. Not only am I getting a larger SSD (500GB vs 240GB), but one blazing fast SSD and totally a reliable one as well. Now granted I never had any issues with my Corsair, but it just makes a system work better when like products are used alongside one another, and that is what I have experienced with my Samsung drives. The unit arrived in the retail packaging and was a joy to behold. So, am I happy? Very much so, and did I mention the 5 YEAR warranty? YES, 5 years! When I was looking to upgrade my Corsair, I looked at ALL of the top SSD drives, but this one had the BEST warranty! So, I now have 2 Samsung drives (mSATA & SSD) and both have a 5 year warranty. The only other drive I considered was the "PRO" version of this drive, with a "10" Year warranty!! But, after fully reviewing the Pro version against this version, I found them to be almost identical, except for the warranty. So with that said, I couldn't justify the increased cost of the PRO version. So, unless you need a "10" year warranty, this item will serve you perfectly! One happy camper!!!!!
