small light and quiet

This is my first SSD and this hard drive is fast. Since installing my hard drive I feel like I have a new computer. The drive is quiet, simple to install and downloaded games in a jiffy.
Pros: great price for 1tb, quality brand name, warranty

Great SSD

I bought the Samsung 850 EVO 500GB drive to replace the Samsung 128 GB 840 PRO that I originally chose when I had my laptop custom configured a year and a half ago. That one had worked great, but was getting full. It was a very easy swap. The Data Migration went flawlessly. I made an image of the original and saved it to my external drive just in case. The Magician software is great as well.
This is my 3rd Samsung SSD EVO drive in addition to the PRO. I just put one in my wife's laptop in a 2nd bay and moved OS to it. That also went flawless.
I also took the 840 PRO that this 850 EVO replaced, and putt it into an 8 year old laptop. Also easy to do, with the only trouble was having to find a spacer as it went into a side slot that held a 9mm HDD. I was able to find one for a couple of dollars. I would like to see Samsung offer a spacer for this purpose.
I know have the Samsung SSD in all 3 laptops, plus my desktop. I will recommend them to anyone.

Much faster than original drive

The cloning and install was easy, and makes my laptop much faster than the original drive. I would have rated 5s if the sales information would have told me that I needed to order cabling along with it, and that the anticipated use is to replace regular hard drives rather than just be additional memory.
Pros: easy install, fast hard drive over original
Cons: retail info could explain better

Brought Life to My Old Laptop

Due to my laptop slowing down, I decided to upgrade the hardware in it. This was the best upgrade I've ever done. It sped it up so much! Windows 10 boots in literally no time at all. It also boosted my battery life a little too.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, fast

Installed easily, data migration worked great...only issue was having to look up how to load up the ssd driver in windows 10.
