Junk from the get go. Tried in 5 different computers, none of them could recognize the SSD. Save your money, go with something reliable.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

The product failed me

I've only had the Samsung SSD 850EVO 500GB for 4 months and it crashed. I am a music producer and I need something that I can depend on for longevity due to the much use in and out of the studio!
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

DON'T USE SSD 850 EVO WITH WINDOWS 10

This SSD will not work correctly with Windows 10. The all essential Samsung Magician software will not work with Windows 10. Samsung should provide correct software immediately or refund purchase price as well as compensate me for lost time.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not win 10 compatible

no software for the Mac

I bought this to upgrade the hard drive on my Macbook Pro. I lot of the reviews said it worked on the Mac but mine doesn't recognize it. The software that comes with it is only for the PC. Which I had know that b4 I bought it. Hey Samsung, how about some Mac software? You can probably put it on the same CD.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no mac software

hard to use...will not allow window 7 updates

I went to college to rebuild, replace and build new computers.
I bought this solid state HD to speed up computer and have been working for two nights to get Windows 7 to run updates......beware this solid state will not allow window 7 updates easily. Still haven't been able to update Win7....

Website keeps me from install info and from any phone number or help.
