Made the world of difference in booting up my PC

I have an older PC that would take a very long time to boot up Windows 10. Once I copied my boot drive onto my SSD it now boots in about 43 seconds. I am very happy with the results, when I do move on to another PC, I will migrate my SSD to that one to continue it's performance enhancements.
Pros: Inexpensive, sped up my boot time
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked great - but does not last.

When it was working, it worked great - if only it had lasted. It failed in under a year. The 3-bit cells used in these devices simply do not have the reliability needed. I'm trying a 2-bit cell device now.
Pros: Inexpensive, fast
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After installing my operating system Win 7, the boot up speed went from 3-4 min to now to about 1 min or less, No more waiting around until the system boots up. Great product.
Pros: Lightweight, small foot print, little bigger than credit card

I've got probably 10 of them (in different sizes from 120 Gb - 1Tb; 840 & 850) around a house as OS, Storage, NAS or attached to nVidia Shield. All of them work :-)

Fast SSD but did not last long

I have had the SSD installed in my macbook pro which has been incredible speeding up the performance of the computer. I have been using the SSD for almost a year until it crashed on me. I've lost all data and have tried running recovery software.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

2011 Macbook Pro Upgrade

I purchased this SSD as an upgrade for my Late-2011 Unibody Macbook Pro i5.
- Installation: Hardware installation was a breeze, taking about 20 minutes of time. Software installation was also a breeze using Time Machine and my external drive, utilizing my Firewire 800 port. Software installation took about 2.5 hours.
- Functionality: Overall the function of this drive when used in my older intel-based mac is phenomenal. The boot up time is significantly reduced, as is the application and document(s) load time.
-Overall: Overall, I would highly recommend this drive to anyone looking to upgrade their Macbook.
Pros: Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, easy installation, warranty coverage, read/write speeds
Cons: none

Super SSD

The Bad: Included data migration cd failed when moving data from existing Win 7 OS disk to new ssd via sata cables. Tried all options several BSOD but end result: FAIL. Was able to finally install a drive image via ACRONIS with errors. Running CHKDSK corrected FAT errors and finally was up to speed. After thoughts: Buy the SATA --> USB cable that should be included with every drive and use the included software. I didn't have the cable nor quick access to one. I had no warning that a proprietary adapter would be required to migrate OS to the new disk. My other option would have been to do a fresh install of the OS rather than to clone my old drive. I expected the new SSD to conform to industry standards for data migration.
The Good: My new drive rocks and will be worth the aggravation suffered in the long run. I love the speed as is over 10x faster than my SATA2 SSD was! I think the real gem here is the 5 year warranty. I think this drive is the way to go!....just use the usb--->sata method to clone your drive! Thanks Samsung for a great product! I love all aspects of the Drive Magician software.
Pros: speed, 5 year warranty, high quality constuction
Cons: included drive migration software, requires a sata-->usb cable to migrate software, 20% higher cost

First Samsung Drive in Years

I chose this drive because of friends recommendations and Public Reviews and it doesn't disappoint! The only thing I wished was included was a Case Badge but that doesn't lessen the satisfaction I had when my system and programs loaded and ran so much faster than expected.
