Fast, fast, fast!

I replaced the hard drive in my Macbook Pro (mid 2102 15", 2.6 GHz, quad core I7 with 16 GB of RAM) with this SSD and it screams. Complete boot in under 30 seconds and apps open in the blink of an eye. Can't wait to do a little video editing and see what that brings.

Really the best available

There are lots of SSDs available to buy, some cheaper than Samsung, but none better. Before purchasing I did a lot of research and it comes down to Samsung gives you the full performance (some other brands give less than advertized), its reliability has the best ratings, and the technology used for the storage gives you better lifespan than most of the others. Also, the cloning and optimization software it comes with is hard to beat, so when you are setting up your new SSD from an older HDD it makes the transition smooth and simple. I set up two computers with it, one starting fresh and the other was to replace an existing hard drive. In both cases the transistion was smooth and the drives are working great.
Bottom line, you'll pay a few extra bucks for a Samsung SDD, but it is well worth the price.

P.S. If you are debating whether you should get an SDD or just stick with a HDD, get one! You'll never want to go back!

Samsung Solid state drives are the only way to go, i have in the past used other brands and there is a huge difference, do not wast your money on other brands, Samsung has them all beat.
Pros: the best money can buy!

Game changing on MacBook Pro

After my four-year-old MacBook started getting a little sluggish, I decided it was time for a solid-state. Man, what a difference! Everything runs so much faster and smoother. Boot time takes about 15 seconds vs 1:30.
Pros: Lightweight, great bang for your buck

It brought new life to my desktop PC!

A Malware infection drove me to reload Windows so I decided to get a new Samsung SSD for my 3 yr old PC before reloading everything. The installation of the SSD was easy and didn't require any extra thought or effort. Everything installed much faster on the SSD and I was immediately satisfied with a boot time of less than 30 sec. I was even more impressed when I loaded the Samsung Magician software and was able to improve on the already fast performance of this drive. My PC runs cooler, faster, and quieter now and I am delighted with this SSD. I only wish I had bought it sooner.
Pros: Inexpensive, screaming fast bootup and shutdowns, computer runs faster and cooler, easy installation

1. Experience - WOW!!!!! The boot time with all my startup software runs about five times faster with this SSD compared to my old HDD, and that means I don't have to wait as long to start using my PC.
2. Experience - Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! My antivirus scan used to take 90 minutes with my old HDD. It now completes in just 12 minutes with this SSD.
3. Advice - Use the Samsung Data Migration software to clone your HDD over to this SSD. It works great and you don't need anything else.
4. Advice - Tweak this SSD using the Samsung Magician software for better performance based on the way you want to use the drive in the future.
