Great gentleman's razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gifted this to my husband. He reports it provides a close shave. He uses a shave gel and he surely passes the smooth smooch test! It is also attractive; a change for men from the usual standard black razor!

He has a very thick beard and i didn't think he was going to get a close shave out of it. Well this product proved me and him wrong. This has to be the best razor on the market and will be telling all of our friends about it. Thank you again for allowing me to try this I am a fan for life.

Well Designed Durable Shaver

Either they pull, don’t shave close enough, and/or are rough on the skin leaving marks and rashes. He is absolutely loves the Remington Hyper Series model XF8550. It is gentle on his skin and easy to use, gives a nice close even shave. No tugging or pulling on the whiskers and his skin looks and feels smooth and soft. And finally a shaver that has a superior motor that isn’t loud or overly vibrating. It has a soft non slip coating assuring a secure grip even when using in the shower. Use for wet or dry shaving, can be used with gel or foam and can be used in the shower. The pivot head makes it easy to glide over his chin and neck. The popup comfort trim detailer works great for keeping his side burns and eyebrows trimmed. The lithium powered battery makes for a powerful quick shave. The 50 min. runtime and a 2 hour charge time is extraordinary compared to other shavers. Easy pop off head makes cleanup effortless. If you are looking for quality assurance I would recommend this well-built durable shaver.

The XF8550 Remington SmartEdge Advanced Foil Shaver

My husband had a beard that was needing shaved badly, so when I received the Smart Edge Shaver, it was a perfect reason to see that beard disappear! He did have to cut most of it off with scissors, but after using the product, his face looked very clean and soft! He said he thought that the shaver was of good quality and it performed to his expectations. We would both recommend the Remington SmartEdge Advanced Foil Shaver!

Now only does the smart edge give you that close shave of a razor but it's waterproof so it's great for using in the shower or at the sink and you don't have to worry about changing out razors!!!

Better than Braun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In addition to high points for style, this razor cuts cleanly and is very comfortable. It is definitely superior to the Braun razor I have been using. It cuts best when held perpendicularly to your face. It can be used wet or dry and is easy to clean by just adding a little liquid soap and running water over the blades while operating. While the model is a little larger than some this apparently gives it a better than average charge as I was able to shave for nearly 2 weeks on a single charge. It also has a rapid recharge feature which comes in handy. Although this review is a bit early to judge durability - I see nothing to date which would point to potential durability problems with this model. Overall: a great shave.

This shaver is well-made and heavy in your hand, charges quickly, and has a quality feel that makes it seem very durable. Only been using it for a few weeks now but it shaves very well for a quick shave with no pulling. No complaints at all. Love that this comes in blue instead of the standard black.... its very distinct and high quality in appearance.
