Disappointed

I've been using a Remington Foil Shaver for over 40 years. Recently used a F5 w/three blades and micro screen. Had a great edger. It was great for getting at short stubborn curly hair. Although the new technology sounds great combining "rotary" with foil. The edger is not adequate to get at the short curly hair. I have to use the edger on the old F5 I kept.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great shaver!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves this shaver and uses it all the time for "neck maintenance" as he calls it. He likes to keep a beard on his face but doesn't want "neckbeard" and this razor gives a close shave without irritation or pulling. It also holds a charge for a long time and seems to be very durable and well made.

I like the dual cutting feature, The screen get me a close shave and the slide cutter takes care of the longer hairs.

Not what it claims to be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Remington shavers for over 50 years, and I was excited to try this new concept, even though the price was rather steep. I am very disappointed, because the shave is not as close as promised, and therefore not as quick. I'd love to see the old three-headed shavers brought back.

I have used Remington for around 50 years. I have persevered for about 2 months hoping it would get better with use. It doesn't provide the close shave my 3 blade one did. It is slow and I have to run it over the same areas over and over. In order to get the shave I secured previously with the 3 blade. I have to either finish it off with my old razor or a blade . The protective cap falls off but that is a small matter. I am about to throw it away or give it to a grandchild to try.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the few weeks that I have used this Razor, I would say that it gives me closer shaves faster than the previous model that I have used.

It was not a good cutting razor. Not enough cutting heads to perform as expected. The F5790 is an excellent product. Too bad it was discontinued. The triple head design is an excellent design and product. Please bring it bad or something identical. Bring it back soon or something like it!!!
