Great idea, bad performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea is wonderful of a haircut without all that mess but this shaver does not blend well at all. The attachments leave lines in the hair that are noticeable. It does not cut well the first time and the hair has to be gone over numerous times and has to be oiled a lot on top of that. It is quite large and takes getting used to to try to maneuver around the head.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quick shave without the itchy aftermath!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shave both my husband's and my son's hair and it can be a very messy situation. The 18 piece vacuum haircut kit really helped with keeping the mess contained. The vacuum wasn't perfect and we ended up with some pieces of hair escaping, but overall it was considerably less messy. Any of the smaller pokey pieces of hair seemed to stay contained - there were only issues with some of the longer chunks. The only major issue I had with this product is making sure other pieces of hair don't get cut. If you are cutting a mohawk (like I was) make sure to hold back any longer pieces you want to KEEP long. I had a mishap where a small section that was supposed to be long ended up getting sucked in by the vacuum and was cut considerably shorter than intended. The mistake was manageable and it definitely taught me how to better handle this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband used the vacuum haircut kit to trim his hair, though it is supposed to not make a mess; it still made a mess. some of the hair did end up in the vacuumed area but most ended up on our bathroom sink.
Product feels like great quality, a little bulky to hold in your hand.
Overall it worked for cutting his hair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day we got it in the mail we had to try it out. It cut hair so nicely and smooth. The vacuum feature is great there is little to no clean up of hair all over the place. You do have to empty the compartment that sucks the hair in a couple times while you cut but, other than that this feature is amazing to me since hair is so hard to clean up when you use just a regular clipper. I would totally recommend this to others. Great, innovative product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved this product. Super quiet so it doesn't scare my kids. And the vacuum is just the best thing since sliced bread. My kid no longer squirms an cries from the hair falling in his face. Makes hair cutting a breeze with small children. The vacuum chamber system is locked tight so no spills!! Even better!!
The guards are easy to read an use an don't poke his head either if I bump him or if he moves.

Ok so we do alot of ShaVing around here.....we have yet to find a product that we absolutely can't live without....until now. I am so happy we got the opportunity to test this product. It's one of the best we have ever used. The sharpness,lightness and durability of this product is outstanding and to top the cherry off it even sucks up the mess!!!! That's a plus for me having a husband that has no time to go get his hair cut and he can do it straight from home and clean up his own mess is perfection. I will be purchasing these for Christmas gifts to giveaway this year...I will also be letting everyone know about this product. Thank you so much once again Remington your products never let me down.

This product is exactly what we have been needing for YEARS! It works absolutely wonderfully compared to the Conair brand we had been using. This great little machine leave barely any hair behind and all the boys love it. Thank you Remington!!!!
