It was my first time ever to cut my husbands hair. Although I chose this model just because it was the only one left during lockdown, it turned out to be one of the most valuable puchase we ever made. Use The Brush!

About every 20 cuts or so, when you begin to feel some pulling rather than just cutting, although you can't see it, hair accumulates between the blades. Remove the bottom, and gently pry the blades apart, and with the brush remove the hair between the blades. Believe me, the blades are still sharp, you just needed to remove the unseen gap caused by the hidden hairs.
I mostly use mine as a razor, shaving w/o an attachment. It leaves a 5 o'clock shadow...which I prefer to the "baby's-butt" look.
Especially for the expense, this is a GREAT product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having three boys in the house I figured this would be a great product to use so clean up would be easy on hair cut day. I was so right. This 18 piece haircut vacuum kit is a life saver. While it does not suck up all the hair that falls on the neck, it does pick up majority of the hair so cleanup is very quick and easy. I would have to say that since one of my children's hair is a little thicker, I have to dump the chamber more often while cutting than with my other children. overall the suction is great, the tools that came with the kit work well and the shaver itself works like a charm. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a shaver kit.

I keep it short during the summer, so I give my precious head the lowest cut every week. This Remington takes care of business in less the 5 minutes. The vacuum picks up almost all hair, so I don't have to clean up much. I'm pretty happy with it so far!
