pointy and not confortable

I had the cordless version and purchased 2 of them, the second was after the first one's batter power was bad. I cut my own hair and LOVED the cordless clippers. Easily over 1000 times I cut my hair with these including trimming my beard. the tips of the blade were rounded and very comfortable on the skin. it had a 1.5 mm included. These new clippers have more power but very uncomfortable to use. Edges are more pointy and difficult to get the tapered trims I was able to get with the cordless model. Overall, I'm looking for other brands now that the cordless model is no longer sold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The power cuts off on my brand new Remington Model hkvac2000a. It usually turns on and then the motor cuts out after 2 or 3 seconds. It's completely useless.

Concept is good in theory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this product sounded like a good idea, it lacks in execution. While the product does vacuum the majority of the hair up while cutting, the hair that doesn't get sucked up is blown around by the exhaust part of the clipper that is located around the bottom of the clippers. I think a better design would be to exhaust the air straight down around the cord, so it doesn't blow the stray hairs around. The product seems like it is durable and of pretty good quality, but you still end up with a mess that you need to clean up.

My husband loves this Remington Vacuum Haircut Kit. I had a hard time finding it for him. But I finally found it and bought it for him and he loves it.

Disappointed

I received one of the clippers for a Christmas present just 4 months ago. I use it to cut several family members hair. A small wire inside the clipper part just broke and now I'm unable to use it. I love this product, but it sure didn't hold up. I would not recommend it at all. I'm hoping to find a replacement for that part.
