I have the older version of this which is getting old and I am afraid will break soon. I started looking for this a year or two ago and found it was discontinued. I saw a few other people had written to Remington to bring this model back. I am so glad to see they are making it again. It is not perfect, in that not all the hair gets sucked up and there is still a little clean up, but it is much less of a clean up with this clipper. I find that if I empty out the collection chamber when it is half full, the clean up is less because the vacuum isn't decreased by the large amount of hair in the chamber. I previously had a Wahl non vacuum cordless clipper about 11 years ago before I got the Remington vacuum clipper about 8 years ago and I only use the Remington clipper now. I did not want to buy a clipper that has to attach to a separate vacuum so I have been hoping they would bring this model back. The older version was silver and gray. Except for the color, it looks about the same. Remington, thanks for bringing this back to the market. You have a loyal fan base for this clipper because it has a niche which no other product on the market fits- a vacuum clipper that does not need a separate vacuum.

¸.•´♥¸.•´♥ I am SO happy Remington brought this item back. My son is a quadriplegic and the vacuum feature is fantastic, particularly in this situation. While at the rehabilitation facility, patient's (and their family members) would see me cutting my son's hair, ask me how the clipper worked, and then ask if I would cut their relative's hair! This clipper is absolutely perfect for our needs. It works so well at vacuuming up the hair that I use it when I give my husband a haircut too. He appreciates this feature and not having hairs all over his neck making him itchy. Like I said, I am so ♥‿♥ this product is being made again, AND that I got one while in stock. Thank you Remington.

Fantastic Haircut Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This clipper set is fantastic. It is light weight, the clippers cut very well, and they are easy to use. It comes with a variety of different guides for getting the right length. I especially like that it includes the side trimmers. The vacuum worked great. It's nice not having to sweep up the hair after cutting. Vacuum held all the hair from one cut without having to empty. The Remington 18 Piece Vacuum Haircut Kit sure does make cutting my boys hair a breeze. Not to mention not having to pay for haircuts is awesome!

Great Vacuum Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to review, I have two boys who get hair cuts by me, I always have to pick up the hair when I am done and it's a huge mess. But with this Remington 18 Piece Vacuum Haircut Kit, I don't have to pick much hair up off the floor like I usually do. The vacuum part of this product works great. I love that feature. This shaver also does not snag hair like my other one did. It evenly shaves a nice hair cut. I love it. I love that it comes with every piece you need to shave hair. I would recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the clippers, I didn't think they would work very well because they are so lightweight. I first cut my husband's hair and noticed that almost every single bit of hair went into the clippers. I then went to try my son's, who is autistic so it is usually a big struggle, but to my surprise we noticed that the clippers were so quiet that he did not freak out! I was able to cut his entire hair without any meltdowns! He also wanted to see how the hair was collected. These clippers are a lifesaver for my family! I absolutely love them! I will be telling everyone I know(especially those in the autism community) how great they are! Thank you for making a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first the product worked great! It was cutting the hair, vacuuming it into the air chamber.
The downside was you had to stop multiple times to empty the chamber. It was also noisy and bothered my child. When we tried using it a second time, it kept pulling on the hair, hurting. Had to clean it out, and add the oil again to the blades. It also blew out the smaller hairs instead of containing it in the chamber.
Even though we had a few mishaps, I would recommend this product and/or buy it as a gift.

Great quality hair clippers!

They don't snag the hair while in use and hold quite a large amount of hair in the vacuum part so I didn't have to stop and clean it out constantly while giving myself a haircut. They've helped up for over a year now with no issues what so ever. Great product I would definitely recommend this product
