BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

I bought this about 2 months ago. Big mistake. The only good thing about it is the outer appearance. The shelves are fixed & are not convenient for my use. The stainless seems very cheap & is hard to keep clean. The worst part? The icemaker! If you have more than 2 people in your house, this is not the refrigerator for you. It makes only 5 or 6 cubes at a time (very noisily) & takes forever to replace them after use. I have a 22-year old Amana in the garage that is superior in every way to this one. The only reason we bought the new one was to match the new oven/microwave we had to buy. (Don't like that either.) I will never again uy anything made by Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems like a good solid unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two weeks into it and very happy. Well built, good looking, great size. Wish the top shelf was adjustable so 2 liter soda bottles would fit - only fit on door. All the rest is great.
