This unit makes too much noise off and on all the time. It is very irritating.

Whirlpool means quality

I am very happy with my new whirlpool refrigerator. Uses less energy than my old Hotpoint, and I have noticed it in my electric bill. The LED lights are way cool!!! Love the technology this fridge has. Is it a Cadillac? No, but it's no Daewoo!!! It keeps all my food very well. The freezer has lots of room even with an ice maker/water dispenser in the door. The icemaker is a little noisy, but not too bad. Bottom line this is a quality American made product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this a month ago and it is a very roomy and efficient fridge so far. Kids are gone and its just the 2 of us and has more than enough space.

In-door Ice Maker

Have a complete Whirlpool kitchen. Refrigerator, freezer, double ovens, cooktop and dishwasher. This refrigerator is a big disappointment due to the in-door ice maker. The first few months it dispensed ice O.K. even though it had to be emptied and de-iced every few weeks. Now it does not dispense ice at all. The cubes jam in the auger blades. Have had 2 service calls and one more is scheduled. Would consider a replacement from Whirlpool but without this type of ice maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wider shelves and handy ice dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great storage areas in fridge and freezer. Deeper racks on doors. Easy temperature controls and lockout on ice and water dispensers insure its child proof. Too bad it's not Energy Star rated
