Exceeds Expectations

I purchased the LP1111WXR to provide additional cooling for my computer room. This unit has worked exceptionally well and has exceeded my expectations.
I even came up with a way to extend the exhaust tube as I had no exterior windows or walls to work with.
This unit works great!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is one product I cannot happily recommend. It doesn't cool our 260 sq ft bedroom. If I set it to 60 degrees, on high fan, turn it on in the morning, and set the vent to the most open position, it will finally have the room cool enough to sleep by midnight. It has a mind of it's own when you turn it on. It should remember the last setting and go back to that when you it on again, but it sets itself as if trying to think for me (and gets it wrong every time!) and it doesn't cool! Don't buy one of these.

Poor Performance

I have returned 4 units at this point. The compressors seem to be very week and do not stay running. i get a minute on the compressor and then about 5 to 10 minutes of nothing but the fan running. I would not recommend this product.

Seems well made but problems cooling after 6 mos

The unit is sleek and easy to operate. I am using in my west facing home office to help keep computers and myself cool. The unit has started to blow hot air rather than cold intermittently now that the temperature in Phoenix is warming up. I have to reset the unit and most of the time it starts cooling but I wonder how it is going to work when the summer heat really kicks in. I have had this for 6 mos. Other experiences with LG products have all been great so I hope this problem can be fixed.

I am so happy I decided to purchase this portable air conditioner. It was a breeze to set up. It actually keeps my whole house cool. Even when the weather was 100 degrees, my home was cool.

pulled this unit out of the box.
Assembled duct work in a few minutes.
Cooled the living room down in a few minutes.
Tried the unit out with with our built in Undersized split-system that came with the house. It helped bring the house to a cool 79f
in 1 hour. Great little unit to have.

It was my first time to buy a portable AC and my one bedroom house doesn't have any air conditioner and I was told by my land lady that I'm not allowed to put any window type AC..so I made some research about portable AC and I found this one..I'm happy with my purchase and it cools down my whole house because I set it up in my living room so that the cold air will be well distributed in my kitchen and bedroom..It is easy to set up on my old window type for the exhaust thing..I just love the timer settings which you can set automatically for a specific time you wanted it to turn on or off..kinda pricy but it is worth it..and I noticed that it does not consume too much of electricity because when I had my electric bill it is still the same amount to my surprise..I was expecting a higher bill because of the AC but I was wrong..I would recommend this if you have a small place like mine..:-)
