The 7100 Series UHD TV is an outstanding TV and bang for the buck. The features and quality are exactly what was expected. I would highly recommend this product.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!

This TV has a beautiful picture , but that's about the best thing it has going for it, The remote has very few buttons and causes a lot of confusion since you have to go to each directory for things as simple as turning on pip. It will only let you play TV with any other option.
It will not play any of my movies I have stored on hdd when directly plugged in or through my files , and will pay very few of those. The tv has a single connector which you plug you ports box called one connect mini with 4 hdmi, 2 usb, and one optical audio. On the back where that plugs in are: 1 component, 1 avi , 1 lan , 1 audio out 1/8th
There is a separate plugin for other things that you have to buy separate.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but not Great...

This is the fifth Samsung Smart TV I've owned and while it is a very good TV, there are a few quirks that prevent me from really loving this TV; the first is the fact that there are no buttons on the TV itself to turn off the set or cycle inputs, and the second is the fact that the remote controls pointer is SEVERELY off. For instance if you want to aim at the top left of the screen you have to aim off the set and for me around 11 o'clock. I know that this TV is meant to be mounted because it features a dongle that attaches to the set via a cord that provides all of the HDMI and USB inputs; I see this as a problem especially over time and I would suggest buying another one while they are still available. As for the picture itself it has the be ability to make even blu-ray seem UHD, I was impressed by the way that it rendered my collection of movies. To really appreciate it though try and stream Netflix, you'll think you're actually there.
i just wish that there was some way to calibrate the pointer and that it had a physical button (or at least touch screen) because the remote is very small and easy to misplace and I'm sure that it's very expensive as well.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
Cons: remote pointer is out of calibration, no physical buttons, input dongle is a single point of failure
I would recommend this to a friend!

it looks good and image looks great but most of the apps are slow. if you use the browser and watch a video on it, it will freeze. even though all the phone at home are Samsung galaxys, the apps never connect or sync with either . it will just show connecting and freeze. cant syn Bluetooth speaker bar to work with the tv volume. you will have to have a secondary remote to use your sound bar. so overall worst tv I ever had. my 3 year old LG smart TV would beat this one anytime, except for the image quality., which is not a big difference either
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, soundbar volume incapabilities, browser freezes on video, apps do not respond
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks great and with Netflix esp., the images are super. TV sound not so great but with my Soundbar HWJ550, it's much improved. No regrets!
