Easy to Use

Very easy to use. It would be nice if the tax software I used at work was this user-friendly and far easier than doing it on paper as in the past. Only issue was a couple of technical checkboxes I couldn't find where to check or uncheck but not an issue since most people would not notice or care. Definitely will use again

Redid the return prior to finishing and had to override some numbers. This would not allow me to e-file.
Incomplete return was on desktop, and would not allow me to open it. Gave this message "...tax 2015 could not be opened. TurboTax cannot open files in the TurboTax 2008 Tax Return format."
I did enjoy the feature of doing another download, and the new download had my initial tax info for 2015.
Would like Partnership returns in Mac version.

Very difficult to handle Michigan State returns without Loss Carryforward form MI 1045 integrated into Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Can enter directly or follow a series of questions to guide you
What's not so great: MI Form 1045 not integrated with Turbo Tax

I have been using TurboTax for 22 years now. Overall it is well organized and makes it easy to file taxes.
This year I encountered my first error in the program. My fed income was not transferring to my Oregon non-resident form correctly. The interview was using form 40P instead of 40N. I called for support and they were very helpful and thorough. It was easy to make an appointment to discuss the issue. They gave me a workaround which resolved the problem. Overall a very good experience.

Previously I tried using one of the other Tax filing companies and it was very frustrating because they continued to try to get me to upgrade and buy additional things. They also said the filing was free and then at the end gave me a bill to even submit.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes it so easy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not as much trouble as last year

Compared to last year's edition this year was not as troublesome. Return was just submitted, so the final check point is the IRS and last year was a catastrophe after the IRS reviewed it. Hopefully this year won't be the same trouble. Beats doing the taxes by hand, so that's helpful. Been a user for over 10 years but after last year if this year returns the same problems that is it for TurboTax.
What's great about it: Accepted all information unlike last year, appears to have calculated correctly unlike last year
What's not so great: Final Final check at time of submitted electronically really is a bother,
