Fantastic product.

Overall very good. However it did not prompt me to enter cost basis for stock options in the 2014 return. Caused an error that the IRS caught. so I had to go back in and refile.
What's great about it: Pretty easy to follow
What's not so great: Original 2014 return did not prompt me to enter cost basis for stock options

Disappointed

Turbo Tax did not once ask me for my estimated taxes to my state. If I did not catch this it would have cost me thousands.
What's great about it: Much retained from previous years
What's not so great: In my state tax return, turbo tax did not once ask me for my estimated taxes to my state.

Complete and Effective Product

I have used this product for many years and it hasn't disappointed me. It runs well enough on number of hardware platform which is great for me since I still use it on a laptop that I purchased in 2007.
When I have had to go directly to a TurboTax live person I have never been disappointed. This is the gold standard
What's great about it: Straightforward, easy to use, and generally covers waterfront
What's not so great: Would like to have a mechanism for tax planning

Saving Completed Return to PDF

The application in general has gotten easier to use ; I think it is more intuitive. The module that saves completed returns to PDF needs work.
User is given the option of saving both returns or only the state or federal return. However, in most instances, I had both returns saved in the same file and on one occasion I had both Form 1040 and state return saved twice to the same file

What's not so great: Saving Completed Returns to PDF Needs Work

Time and Money - you save both

We all want to save time and money. You can't bank time, but you can money. Why pay more when you can buy the best for a few bucks. I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and have never been disappointed. But then you wouldn't take someone else;s word for something like driving a car. Go take a test drive yourself and see if this is the one for you. It was for me.
What's great about it: Easy to walk through the process along with the updates before you file.
What's not so great: None at this time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
