Rickrod 2015 refund

Satisfied with all aspects of the program in my 15th year using it. However, it is ridiculous that in order to efile my own federal and state returns, it costs me so much. These fees keep creeping up every year and I am disappointed that such a chunk is removed every year.
What's great about it: Mostly clear and easily understood instructions.
What's not so great: EFILE is not even close to zero $....

Love TurboTax

I've been using TurboTax for at least 10 years and every year, no matter what my tax situation may be, Turbo Tax walks me right through it. I would recommend this product to any and everyone.
What's great about it: It's so easy!!!
What's not so great: Haven't found any cons.

Taxes are no fun. I don't understand some of the business language. For the most part Turbo Tax defines these unknowns.
What's great about it: Finds old information fast
What's not so great: Didn't have a "save and return" option this year.

All in all its a good program! I would recommend to others.
What's not so great: needs more its stock info when sale them and tax to deduct

Made My Refund Easier

TurboTax Premier transferred last year's data to my 2015 return. Then it walked me through every instance of income and deductions very efficiently and quickly. I was done in no time. It also made my state return complete very quickly.
What's great about it: Easy to use, walked me through everyone instance
What's not so great: No major cons

Don't be fooled by the others

I've used other tax prep software in the past & it doesn't compare to TurboTax. I've also taken my paperwork to a big name tax prep company who charged me a small fortune & ended up owing taxes on top of their crazy fees. This program is so easy to use even if you have a complicated return. I'm not intimidated by doing my own taxes as long as I have TurboTax.
What's great about it: easy to use, step by step instructions
What's not so great: nothin

OK, I normally do not write reviews but I am pretty happy right now that I got my taxes done under 3 hours, and that included having to file for two states and deal with a rental property. We felt our return was accurate. My previous issues with Turbotax had to do with the state filing but there must have been some major upgrades this year because it was clear and easy. I am not sure why someone would pay to have their taxes done by a 3rd party or do them via paper. The e-filing made it so easy. Thank you. Now I can enjoy my weekend.
What's great about it: Filing for State was SOOOO much better this year
What's not so great: No cons
