Pretty much it is a great program.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: saving to pdf has issues
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

MLP seemed to clear up with update. Tried to pay state filing with credit card. Turbo supplied Intuit payment code would not work. Had to call.
What's great about it: Mostly easy.
What's not so great: Trouble with MLP.

Good product but stubborn

I don't understand why the software requires adjustment codes in 1099B when I downloaded the information from my broker's website. If they didn't put the code in why make me guess? Chances are IRS already has the information with what the broker has submitted.
What's great about it: Helps me through difficult parts of the return
What's not so great: Insists on codes that are not necessary to file the return

All Went Smoothly This Year!

I have done TurboTax for many years and my returns have gotten more complicated each year. Point is that TT works and has all the functionality in it to get my taxes done correctly and submitted. That's what I need! And my state taxes get done too!

What's not so great: Always seems to go slow, but guess that's necessary

Overall a very good product
What's great about it: Well organized with simple instructions
What's not so great: K-1's are complex. Wish there was a way to download K-1 detail.

I have used TurboTax for more than 20 years. it is a great product because it covers unusual and complex tax situations. It is important to read carefully all of the questions. It is not easy to go back and make corrections, so get it right the first time!
What's great about it: Comprehensive, Easy to use
What's not so great: Must read questions very carefully

I paid someone last year. I have to amend my return because of the mistakes. TurboTax ELIMINATED this problem. I will NEVER "cheat" again!!!
