Since this happens every year I dread strting my tax return. I have been with you forever but something HAS to change!. Please fix this.
What's great about it: Usually easy to work with
What's not so great: Took 14 tries to download on April 13to 21. Took 5 tries to update on June 12 thru 18, 2016 and never did complete.

Problems with an amended state return

When I put in the changes on the amended return, the calculations showed that I was due one amount, however, when I printed the actual forms they showed that I was not due anything. It turned out that the number I had overpaid originally was not brought forward to the amended return correctly, washing out my additional overpayment.
What's not so great: Everything worked very well except the amount already paid was incorrect.

Did The Job

Turbo Tax, unlike other tax software, is great to use when filing a VT return as it has ALL the VT forms including renters rebate and Property Tax Adjustment. The problem this year was the VT 155 form was left off and it it had not been hearing about the form missing on the radio. I would not have known it was missing. Causing me to send money back to the state. I was not notified of this error, and I do register my copy of the program with them. I still purchase the disc. This way I can work on taxes without being on line.
What's great about it: Easy to fill
What's not so great: expensive

Solid performer

Imported my brokerage statement without problem. Asked all the right questions, plus some I would never have thought of in a million years.
Interface could use some tweaking. I needed to make one small change, could not find how to drill down to that without answering a whole bunch of questions. Might not have been necessary to answer all those questions, but wasn't clear to me and I didn't want to take a chance.
What's great about it: Handled everything I needed
What's not so great: not easy to make small changes

Turbo Tax is getting better. The questions are more clearly worded for non-tax-accountants like me making them easier to understand. I am very appreciative of this as it made my 2015 taxes easier than ever - Thank you.
I called Turbo Tax support to get clarification on some other tax situations that I had questions on (case number: 419059909). The support person I spoke with was a CPA. He was totally professional and spent the time needed to get me the correct information I needed to complete my tax returns properly. Again, thank you for this awesome resource.
What's great about it: Questions were mroe understandable, more clearly worded.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

Long Time TurboTax Customer

I have been a loyal and long time TurboTax customer. At first my tax returns were easier but as I ventured into real estate investments and independent business opportunities, I have expanded my reach on TurboTax.
TurboTax has never failed me, and I have so much confidence in the product and also TurboTax's ability to address any questions or issues which come up.
