my first time with turbotax
I was so impressed. It took me a little while getting used to the system but all went smoothly. Will definitely use next year!

GA and IA e filing

Could not e-file my GA state return. Mailing it in is so inconvenient. This is the second year in a row this has happened. Hopefully, better luck next year.

Very disappointed this year

Have used Turbotax Premier for 5 years, so not sure what happened exactly this year - think the way the questions were asked may have caused the issue, but Turbotax double-dipped the amount of last year's refund that was applied to 2015 taxes for both federal and state.
What's great about it: Easy to use

I have been a long time customer and an advocate of Ttax. I was late this year filing my income tax because of the failure of your software. After doing all the work to file my taxes...and to get all the way to the screen that let's you charge your credit card, and the program fails. I was livid. I had no other means to file my taxes. So, because of this shortcoming in the program, I will end up paying a fine.
I ended up re-downloading the software and filing on my other computer when I returned home (3 weeks late!!!)

What's great about it: easy to download
What's not so great: Couldn't efile because of incompatibility issue with video driver

What's great about it: Turbotax walks one through the steps to file. I like that it copies pertinent information from previous year taxes.
What's not so great: TurboTax does not cover any tax situations like trust and estate tax prep unless you purchase TurboTax Professional.

Overall the Forms view and the Step by Step was Ok. But not great.
Started Off frustrated that W2s would not E-Import. and had to manually enter them. Crummy.
