did a poor job on my K-1s

I was extremely disappointed in the performance of the K-1s If it isn't fixed for next year I will need to switch for another service
What's great about it: Overall ok except K-1
What's not so great: K-1 was poor at best

Opening Turbotax and checking filing status

Great program, have used Turbotax for years. An irritant: when I open application, it wants to check and install update, no other choice given. After several minutes, it says it is extracting update file to install, then it says there is no current update to install. It would be nice if after I do the initial update, it doesn't check again until the final check of my return. Another comment: When checking status of return, it would be nice if I could double check which email I typed in to receive notice and if I also added a mobile number to receive text msgs for status notification. When I tried to check, all it would say was the federal return had been filed. Other then those to annoyances, it is a great program and I will continue to use it in the future.
What's great about it: Like the easy step interview process to input data
What's not so great: Needing to check for update each time I open application

to pay must set up account, a confirmation # is sent via e-mail. so close turbo tax and sign on email for #. log back on turbo tax and submit conf # and am told no longer valid. tried 3 times then quit and just filed federal return
What's great about it: easy to prepare return
What's not so great: very,very,very difficult to charge fee to e-file state return

I have been using TurboTax for many years, and find it very easy to complete my income taxes using it. It provides a lot of information and help topics to help in understanding what is required and how to correctly complete my return I will continue to use TurboTax in the future.

This year was much more confusing

I opened the program, and entered only my name when my refund of $35 appeared. That number remained the same throughout the entries all through my final refund which was $35 (coincidence?). Suspected a problem, so went out and bought the disc (as opposed to the TDAmeritrade on-line version)--same result, but the disc was somewhat clearer and more comprehensive.
The timeline was so limiting as to be useless in terms of navigating from one point to another. Could not retrieve my 2014 import, so had to enter all (twice) from scratch. Will not likely use Turbo Tax next year after being a many-consecutive- year user.

moving from step to form and back to step

TurboTax should be able to determine if update is needed since last update; I hate to wait for update every time I use the program.
What's great about it: really helps entering data when in doubt
What's not so great: moving back and forth was quite slow

more difficult than in years past

Overall the experience was good.
What's great about it: lead me thru the majority of the items related to my return
What's not so great: any special circumstances was difficult. TurboTax kept taking me back to fields that could not be modified
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
