Free State Filing Credit Doesn't Work

Third year in a row that even though I click on the use this return for my free state e-file, it still charges me when I file.
Can't find anyway around this.

What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Single click sometimes advances 2 screens.

Turbo Tax Makes it Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and I have been very pleased with the improvements that has been made in it year over year. It has pretty much always been an easy to use program. It has good helps and hints. I would recommend it to most people that have a basic understanding of their tax situation. I would not recommend it to someone who can't balance their own checkbook.
What's great about it: Lots of good help pages
What's not so great: Moves on without explanation on some pages
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Time for change

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2008. Older programs ran smoother, fewer lockups less updates.
Why when started up it always has to update forms....? I would think that the forms and rules are pretty much set in stone before I get my W-2's.
This year each time I went to file after all checks were done it would lockup for 10-35 minutes and then run like nothing happened!
I'm running Windows 7 Pro that was reloaded and drive de-fraged before I started. Running everything else fine.

TN state tax deletion

Cannot delete this portion of a non-required filing. TurboTax Premier should be able to deduce that TN does not collect or require Income Tax filings and thus not require that section to be completed. Once completed, there is no way to delete, remove, or ignore the error messages that section compleeion creates.
