The IP PIN Mystery

Why the deep dive to search for the placement of the IP PIN. Is it not possible to place it with other PIN ID stuff?
What's great about it: Methodical, a relatively painless approach to a painful topic. Once you have completed your taxes you feel pretty good

Taxes completed all by myself: 2nd year in a row!

Again--very satisfied with ease and professional looking, clear and concise step-by step instructions. It always takes more time than I wish--easy to procrastinate actually starting the task. I finished on April 1, 2016--but am just now able to print final return for my files (ink/printer issues).I have no complaints at all. I will use Turbo Tax every year!
What's great about it: PERFECTLY SET UP, GREAT STEP-BY STEP EXPLANATIONS.
What's not so great: Just initial beginning--with downloaded to computer the program kept giving "error" messages--2 or 3 times.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy and complete to use

Very useful software. I use every year. This year seemed smoother than past years.
What's great about it: Straightforward to use (have used for years), and was especially impressed at ease in describing stock option exercise
What's not so great: not much to complain about

The user interface doesn't seem to be improving in the past 3 years. It gets the job done for latest tax law, but there should be an early screen asking for basic changes to your finances such as "did you sell or buy a house" or "did you have a child" or "Did you change employers" or whatever is necessary to narrow down the topics I need to address instead of the present situation making me deal with a lot of things that don't apply out of the 10 income topics, 12 deduction topics, etc. This would be particularly useful when I do my offspring's taxes who has few assets and little income.
Bottom line: find ways to get me through this process faster! Even with all the records I need in front of me, it still takes several evenings to do my taxes with TT!

What's great about it: Covered all my tax needs
What's not so great: Schedule K-1 is still painful to fill out. Hard to figure out how to print state return after e-filing fed

Better to pay for investment and money management advice than the task of filing taxes. You do almost all the work by the time you have gathered your documents!
What's great about it: Systematic review of all tax areas
What's not so great: Entry level computer skills needed

Some things I liked and others I didn't like. When I wanted to go
back to a form I would have to re-enter Turbo Tax. Didn't have that problem with last year's program.
What's great about it: Program was in much detail.
What's not so great: hard to move from one line to another and can't sign in. Couldn't E-file. Program kept trying to load forms but couldn'
